Sam's Field Trip to the Pet Store

Sam is petting a bearded dragon.

This wasn't just any pet store. It was huge and full of everything from snakes and alligators to fish and chinchillas. I was one of the chaperons with Sam's 4K class. They met and touched all sorts of animals. Enjoy the photos and videos: Pet Store 

Mitchell Park Domes

One of the top destinations in Milwaukee is the Mitchell Park Domes - three large domes that are essentially greenhouses. Each one houses a different climate. The first one is the climate and vegetation you'd see in a Wisconsin summer. The second one, which is closed for repair, is a desert. And the third one is a tropical climate. The first dome also hosts a train exhibit part of the year, so I took the boys one Sunday afternoon. An Irish festival of sorts was going on at the same time, so they boys were able to do some crafts and hear some Irish music.

Soccer

The boys finished their 4-week soccer program, and I'd say it was a success! They learned some fundamentals, and they were able to kick the ball into the goal.

Henry recap and update

Henry is fine. Stitches are out. (To save time and money, Dave took the stitches out...he told me after he did. Can you guess my reaction?)
Here's how Henry had to get stitches:
It was a rather frustrating Sunday afternoon. In the early afternoon, I had locked us out of the house. My house keys and car keys were in the house. We were out. And it was very cold. Dave was at work, so I called a locksmith and dropped $75. We only had to wait about 15 minutes. Not bad. We then were playing in the basement with a little igloo cooler. Sam and Henry were pretending to go on a picnic. But they started fighting over who was going to carry the cooler. Sam pushed Henry down and then hit him with the cooler. I could hear from the sound the cooler made hitting Henry's head (just above the eye) that it wasn't good. However, there wasn't as much blood as I would have thought. I did take him to the doctor. Five stitches. He was a trooper. The photos in the link are of Henry telling Papa and Grandma Debbie all about it.

An incident occurred between Sam and Henry that resulted in these stitches above his eye.
